Kristen Ward Wilson attended Governor’s School East in 2001 with a focus in Math, and still keeps in touch with her favorite instructor, “Math Rob” Houck.  She is originally from Shallotte, North Carolina and is a proud graduate of West Brunswick High School.  At Duke University, Kristen majored in English and Psychology with a minor in Theater Studies.

While in undergrad, Kristen enjoyed volunteering with Duke Children’s Hospital.  Following development roles with North Carolina Wesleyan College, American Red Cross, and East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, Kristen returned to Duke Children’s Hospital in 2015 and serves as their Director of Development.
