Master of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University in 2001. Her professional practice has been dedicated primarily to the care of patients who have experienced stroke, head and neck cancer, or other critical illnesses. She currently serves as Manger for Rehabilitation Services at a major medical facility in Charlotte.
